the-healing-goddess:

Olivia quickly took a shower allowing the hot water to wash away the bad of her dream. Not wanting to keep him waiting much longer she hurried and cast a drying spell and hair spell upping her body and head. Long blonde ringlets wrapped around her face in an elegant fashion. She made for her bedchamber dressing in a cute yellow summer dress and white wedges. Pleased with her appearance she made her way down stairs to find a sleeping Sean passed out on the couch. Chuckling to herself she quietly stepped over to him and softly shook him though not fully wanting to wake him.

His mind wandered to home as he slept, he dreamt of everything he had left behind, everything he would never see again. Then suddenly in his mind the car accident was played out, scene by scene. Everything played out the exact same way and yet this time he was calm, collected, Sean already knew what was going to happen and there wasn’t a way he could change that. The tyrres screeched on the road, the rain pelted at the window, his mother screamed and suddenly he was awake to Olivia standing over him.

Her hair outlining her face in beautiful, blonde ringlets, her sparkling eyes gazing into him with such care. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled running his hand through his hair, “I wasn’t going to fall asleep.”

A Cake for the Belated

the-healing-goddess:

Olivia rested back against the sink as she looked up at him, her arms folded and a simple smile on your face. With a gentle sigh she walked up to him peering into his dark brown eyes and placed her hands upon his cheeks. In a weird way she felt at home, slowly she kissed his forehead and smile sweetly, “Try not to fall too sleep too deeply. I have a feeling you sleep like papa bear.” she joked before turning and heading off to take a quick and cool shower. “I won’t be long. Promise.” she yelled back before quickly climbing up the stairs.

He smirked and waved her off as he made his way over the the couch, he wasn’t going to fall asleep, he would stay awake, wait for her to be down and then go shopping for cake mix. But as Sean rested on the couch, warmth soaked in around him and the pillows making a great spot to rest your head his eyes slowly began to close.

"Let my buy you a drink beautiful,"

glynnamcgrath:

"Alright then. What is your favorite color? Where did you go to school? How long have you been a bartender? And…… is this what you’ve always wanted to do?"

"Easy Green, Hogwarts till 5th year, Salem for a year and then back to Hogwarts. Five years and I never really had  plan when I left, it’s not what I always wanted to do but I never knew what I always wanted to do. Happy?"

"Let my buy you a drink beautiful,"

glynnamcgrath:

"The basics sure, but I could have told that from looking at you. Maybe not the muggle born part but everything else, yes." She leaned in. “I want to know more than the basics."

"I’m always bad with these things," Sean sighed looking to her, "Why don’t you fire questions at me instead? That’s always easier."

glynnamcgrath:

"I find that hard to believe. As for myself…" She smiled. “Mother of three, divorced and secretly 50 years old." Glynna laughed at the reaction on his face. “I’m obviously kidding but if you want to know more about me you need to tell me more about yourself."

Sean laughed slightly as she joked, there was never really much to know about him. “I’m a bartender at the Leaky Cauldron, twenty-two years old and muggle born. Now I think we’ve covered all the basics, happy?”

A Cake for the Belated

the-healing-goddess:

Olivia smiled with a nod as she rinsed out her empty mug, and placed it in the drainer. “That we are. I don’t see why that should be a problem” She smiled with a nod. “I need a shower though.  I’m sure I look like something the hippogriff dragged in. We have a guest bathroom, if you would like to shower as well.” She offered. Her bathroom was plenty room enough, and had an extra suite added just in case. But they had been cozy enough as it was. She didn’t want to get in over her head. She was sure by now he had seen enough of his fair share of crazy from her in just one sitting.

"You head off and have a shower," Sean smiled as he grabbed his mug and walked over to the sink with it. He knew he could have easily lifted them with his wand but there was something about doing manually things that reminded him of home. "I’m fine here, maybe I’ll make myself at home on the couch or something." He figured sitting on the couch he hopefully wouldn’t drift off after all they just had a nice mug of coffee, beside he hoped he didn’t smell all that bad, he hadn’t the chance to sleep nor sweat.

She laughed. “Nice accent. So tell me about yourself, besides the fact you like whiskey and you’re Australian?”

"To be honest, that’s all there really is to know." Sean flashed a charming smile before looking around. "How about yourself?"

Before pulling away she gave another quick squeeze as she made a face on his comment. Shaking her head she answered, “Mm no. Strawberry with vanilla icing and sprinkles. That’s her favorite.” she smiled making her way back to the coffee she had deserted and downing the rest. “I don’t really have much baking stuff. And I’m not one to cook the wizarding way. What do you think of going into muggle London to pick up a few items with me?” she asked with a smile reaching her hand out to him. Sure it was early but not too early. She was the type to get things done now.

Sean laughed slightly and nodded, “Sounds like a plan to me. I haven’t visited there in awhile, a long time actually.” He sighed picking up his mug taking another mouthful from it. He remembered the last time he ever visited there was just over three years ago, he simply got sick of the wizard world and needed a break, he needed somewhere that was almost home and managed to find himself at muggle London. “Only if you promise me we can pick up some muggle alcohol while we’re there, that’s one thing we’re good at.”

Olivia glanced up at him with tear filled eyes, and a sweet smile to match her tears of happiness. She stood up plopping down from the stool and made her way around the counter grasping her arms around him in a tight hug. As she closed her eyes she let her body relax into the hug taking in everything about him in. With her eyes still closed she spoke, “I think she would like that very much.” Her voice was shaken, but her heart was warm, warmer than it had been in a long time. With a smile she buried her head into his neck not wanting to lt go. It felt right, as if it was meant to be, a place like non-other.

Sean gently pulled her into the hug, his fingers ran through her hair and a weak smile held on his face. He closed his eyes and just listened to her breathing as he stood there with Olivia in his arms, their heart beats slowed down to settle with eachother and the air filled with her sweet smell of grass and nights air. For a slight moment all he wanted to do was stand there with her in his arms but with a sigh he slowly let her go, “Chocolate I guess?”
